Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) has completed its acquisition of Topsport, officially bringing Lithuania's largest betting operator into the group's growing Central and Eastern European business.

The completion follows FEG's announcement in March that it had agreed to acquire a 70% stake in Topsport, a transaction that marked the Czech-based operator's entry into the Baltic market. Group CEO Dieter John confirmed the closing on social media, describing it as another milestone in FEG's long-term expansion strategy.

John said Topsport had earned its position as Lithuania's leading operator through strong execution, customer focus, and a commitment to its people. He added that the acquisition would strengthen FEG's presence across Central and South Eastern Europe while creating opportunities to share expertise, accelerate innovation, and enhance the customer experience.

In a separate announcement, FEG welcomed Topsport and its employees to the group, calling the acquisition the beginning of "a new chapter" for both companies. The group said adding Lithuania's market leader would reinforce its regional position and support future growth through greater collaboration across its operations.

Topsport has been operating in Lithuania for 24 years and holds an estimated 54% share of the country's gaming market. The company generated more than €65m ($75.4m) in EBITDA during 2025, making it one of the region's strongest-performing gaming businesses.

The acquisition also extends FEG's expansion strategy, which has gathered pace over the past year. The group acquired a majority stake in Montenegro-based operator Lob in October 2025, expanded its gaming content offering in Romania through a partnership with Highlight Games, and introduced Gaming Realms' Slingo portfolio in Croatia earlier this year.

With the transaction now complete, FEG's portfolio spans the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Croatia and Lithuania, supporting the group's ambition to build a broader regional entertainment business while continuing to invest in product development and responsible gaming across regulated European markets.
