Lotería Chaqueña has signed an updated code of conduct for responsible gambling communication issued by the Argentinian State Lotteries Association (ALEA).
The organization's President, Lucas Apud Masín, signed the agreement at ALEA's headquarters in Buenos Aires.
Lotería Chaqueña said the updated code sets clear guidelines for transparent legal and secure communication across digital platforms, social media, streaming and influencer marketing.
ALEA added that the commitment includes protections for minors and vulnerable groups, transparency requirements, responsible use of technology with an emphasis on user traceability and privacy, and responsible gambling provisions.
Lotería Chaqueña said: "With this signing, we reaffirm our commitment to ethical communication and the protection of the entire community."
ALEA presented the revised and integrated 2026 version of its Code of Good Practices for responsible commercial communication in online and land-based betting in July. The update is a revision of the code originally published in 2021, intended to adapt to changes in the digital ecosystem and new regulatory challenges facing the sector.
The updated code broadens the definition of advertising to that of commercial communication more generally, covering not only traditional campaigns but also digital acquisition activity, promotions, affiliate programs, streaming, direct messaging and automated systems used by authorized operators.
The original version of the code was first published in 2021 before this year's revision
