Station Casinos has awarded more than $70m in Red Rock Resorts stock to nearly 10,000 employees as the Nevada operator concludes celebrations marking its 50th anniversary.
Eligible full and part-time employees working for the operator as of 9 September will receive $1,000 in Red Rock Resorts Class A stock for each year of service. Shares will begin being distributed from 14 September.
The grant covers most of Station Casinos' workforce. Red Rock Resorts, which conducts its operations through Station Casinos, reported approximately 9,500 US employees as of 31 January 2026.
Several employees who joined the business during the 1970s remain with the operator. Ida Johnson, who started working for the business in 1977, will receive $49,000 in shares, while seven employees from that decade will each receive more than $45,000.
Red Rock Resorts Chairman and CEO, Frank Fertitta III, said: "This award reflects those values and recognizes the people who have brought them to life every day for the past 50 years."
The distribution comes during a period of continued investment across Station Casinos' Las Vegas operations. Durango Casino & Resort, which opened in December 2023, completed a $120m expansion before work began on a further $385m development that will add entertainment, dining and bowling facilities.
Station Casinos also controls approximately 454 acres of developable land across the Las Vegas Valley.
Red Rock Resorts reported net revenue of $510.3m for the second quarter of 2026, compared with $526.3m in the prior-year period. Net income was $76.6m and adjusted EBITDA totaled $208m. For the first six months of the year, revenue reached $1.02bn, with net income of $159.3m and adjusted EBITDA of $420.7m.
Outside Nevada, the group is also involved in development of the North Fork gaming project in California. The approximately $750m property is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is expected to include around 2,000 Class III slot machines and approximately 40 table games.
The employee stock award concludes anniversary activity that began with a new Station Casinos brand identity and a series of events across its Las Vegas properties. The operator traces its origins to Bingo Palace, which opened in 1976 and later became Palace Station.
Last month, Station Casinos signed a 10-year agreement with Kambi covering its retail and online sportsbook operations in Nevada. The agreement will bring Kambi into the Nevada market and includes its sportsbook, racebook and player account management technology.
Red Rock Resorts held a 59% economic interest and 100% of the voting power in Station Holdco as of 30 June 2026, through which it controls Station Casinos
