International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Jamie Knight as the supplier’s new Chief Studios Officer – effective January 1, 2027 – as she will replace Jean Venneman who informed the company of her intentions to retire at the conclusion of 2026.
"Jean's leadership created the foundation for this next phase of growth. She brought together talented teams, strengthened how our studios operate and raised the bar for creative and operational excellence,” IGT CEO Hector Fernandez said.
“We are deeply grateful for everything she has contributed to our organization and our industry. Jamie's combination of creative instinct, studio leadership and focus on innovation in design and math will build on that momentum and unlock new possibilities across our combined studio organization."
As Chief Studios Officer, Knight will be looked upon to establish clear priorities for IGT’s studio teams and drive innovation across game mechanics and mathematical modeling. Knight is also set to lead IGT’s continued studio investments and build on the “strong foundation” established by Venneman.
Venneman reflected on her time with IGT in the release, having said, "Returning to this organization and helping strengthen our global studio organization has been a meaningful way to close my career.
"I am incredibly proud of our studio teams and the foundation we have created. I am confident Jamie will carry that momentum forward and help unlock the next phase of our growth."
Knight originally joined IGT in January 2025 as VP of Game Studio, prior to receiving a promotion to SVP of US Game Studios by January 2026.
"I'm energized to lead our studio teams and build on the strong foundation in place,” Knight said.
"Together with our talented teams across IGT and Everi, we'll push the boundaries of what's possible in game design, content strategy and math innovation to deliver world-class experiences on the floor."
On September 14, IGT appointed Adam Chibib as the supplier’s new CFO – set to go into effect on November 1 – where he will be looked upon to help “advance its financial and operational transformation.”
Chibib will take over the CFO role from Fabio Celadon on November 1, while Celadon will remain with the supplier through the end of 2026 as an Advisor to help IGT with the transition.
