Happy Valley Casino, the newest Category 4 casino project approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, has selected Konami Gaming's Synkros casino management system to support its property-wide operations.
The venue, located in State College and scheduled to open in 2026, will feature 600 slot machines, 30 live table games and multiple dining options - all underpinned by Konami's enterprise management technology.
The agreement positions Synkros as the central platform for guest engagement, loyalty, accounting and real-time operational control.
Commenting on the development, Happy Valley Casino CEO and GM Eric Pearson stated: "Delivering a top-tier guest experience is core to Happy Valley Casino, as the property looks ahead to opening its doors to future patrons from across the region.
"The level of convenience, efficiency, innovation and system reliability that Konami's Synkros casino management system provides is central to achieving this mission, both in Happy Valley Casino's immediate launch phase and in the years to come."
Off the back of the deal, Happy Valley Casino will implement several of Synkros' newer features, including its digital drink ordering tool, Synkros Drink System, which allows guests to order beverages directly from their gaming machine.
The venue will additionally roll out Konami's Konetic mobile application, designed to streamline internal processes such as service dispatch and floor operations. Both tools integrate with Synkros' single-code-base architecture.
Also commenting on the announcement, Konami Gaming VP of System Sales Randy Caron added: "Happy Valley Casino is progressing to its grand opening with top technology in place to engage casino guests, empower team members and drive long-term success.
"Guests at Pennsylvania's newest casino can look forward to a totally fresh and convenient gaming experience at Happy Valley Casino, which Konami is dedicated to supporting through its Synkros casino management system."
The partnership comes as Konami continues to expand its technology footprint across the US market and follows a period of internal growth, including multiple senior leadership promotions announced earlier in the year.
Pennsylvania's gaming market set a new monthly iGaming revenue record in October 2025 with $251.1m, representing a 32.8% year-over-year increase
