Polymarket has hired Lisa Mantil, a nearly three-decade Goldman Sachs Veteran, as Head of Institutional Growth.
The move comes as prediction markets increasingly seek to deepen institutional liquidity, first gaining relevance through retail traders. Mantil joined to help attract Wall Street liquidity and expand the firm's institutional business.
She most recently served as a Goldman Sachs Partner and Global Head of its Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) Accelerator. The accelerator is the bank's in-house platform that helped clients launch investment products.
Before this role, she held multiple positions at Goldman during her long career with the bank.
Commenting on her new role, Mantil stated: “The opportunity to join Polymarket is a rare chance to help shape an exploding asset class at an infection point in its development.”
“I’ve spent my career guiding institutions as they adopt new products and enter new markets, and I look forward to bringing that expertise to Polymarket as we build the institutional business and expand the role prediction markets can play across investment and risk-management strategies.”
Polymarket CEO and Founder Shayne Coplan praised her ‘’experience and relationships across the institutional world " as unparalleled. Coplan added that she is the right person to lead the company’s latest expansion phase.
As Polymarket moves from rapid expansion to building a more mature, financially disciplined business, it also recently appointed its first CFO. The operator brought in Warren Jenson for this function. Before joining Polymarket, Jenson served as Senior Advisor to EQT Group from September 2025 to August 2026, and in the same role at McKinsey & Company for the past year.
In his last executive role, he served as President & CFO at Nielsen from October 2023 to January 2025 and previously held roles with Latamp, Electronic Arts, Amazon, Delta Air Lines and NBC.
Polymarket’s expansion into US stock-related prediction markets is attracting regulatory scrutiny over whether these contracts should be regulated as securities or derivatives
