Nevada's nonrestricted gaming licensees generated $1.27bn in gaming win during August 2026, an increase of 3.1% year-on-year, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).

The result took gaming win for the first two months of the state's 2027 fiscal year to $2.65bn, 2.6% higher than the comparable period. Clark County accounted for $1.06bn of August's total, up 2.8%.

The Las Vegas Strip generated $684.1m, representing a more modest 0.7% increase. Elsewhere in Clark County, the Boulder Strip recorded one of the strongest increases at 17.4%, reaching $83.2m. Laughlin rose 9.9% to $39.9m, while Downtown Las Vegas declined 3% to $61.5m.

Statewide slot machine revenue increased 6.1% to $865.7m. Multi-denomination machines remained the largest slot category, generating $696.4m after a 10.6% increase. One-cent slot revenue declined 12.5% to $108.5m.

Table, counter and card game revenue fell 2.8% overall to $400.4m, despite baccarat win rising 36.5% to approximately $162m. Blackjack revenue dropped 22.7% to $81.1m, while roulette declined 37.6% to $23.4m. Sports pool revenue also decreased 22.5% to $32.6m.

Regional results were mixed. Washoe County gaming win increased 10.4% to $108.4m, driven by Reno, where revenue rose 15.7% to $79.4m. Sparks declined 5.7% to $17.3m. South Lake Tahoe generated $26.3m, down 2%, while Elko County declined 2.9% to $36.5m.

The state collected $72.6m in percentage fees during September based on taxable gaming revenue generated for August, a 6% decrease from the comparable collection period. Fiscal-year-to-date percentage fee collections stood at $256.8m, down 1.3%.

The NGCB's monthly report covers gaming win rather than operator-level financial statements, meaning EBITDA and net income are not reported in the dataset. Its detailed monthly statistics cover nonrestricted licensees and exclude restricted gaming locations.

In August 2025, Nevada casinos generated $1.23bn in gaming revenue, with baccarat growth helping offset weaker performance in parts of the slot segment. The Las Vegas Strip generated $652.1m in the previously reported figures, while statewide revenue increased 5.5% year-on-year.
