Konami Group's Gaming & Systems division recorded JPY25.1bn ($158.8m) in revenue for the six months ended September 30, 2026, up 41.3% year-over-year. The Japanese supplier attributed an increase in gaming machine unit sales to its Solstice 49C cabinet.

Segment business profit rose 154.4% to JPY2.4bn from JPY0.9bn. Operating profit also reached JPY2.4bn, a 154.5% increase, while the reported operating margin doubled from 5% to 10%.

Konami presented the casino equipment results within a broader group that also includes digital entertainment, arcade games and sports.

Consolidated revenue increased 37% to JPY308.0bn and operating profit rose 73.1% to JPY111.3bn. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent climbed 70.5% to JPY79.2bn.

Digital Entertainment accounted for JPY243.5bn of group revenue, up 44.3%, compared with the Gaming & Systems unit's JPY25.1bn. Its larger contribution means the headline group growth rate should not be read as a measure of casino equipment demand alone.

The gaming division also installed its Synkros casino management system at properties in California and Arizona and aboard cruise ships during the reporting period. It showed two additional Solstice cabinets, the Solstice 27 and Solstice SuperNova, at the 2026 Global Gaming Expo.

In July, subsidiary Konami Gaming submitted manufacturer license applications to Japan's Casino Regulatory Commission across the applicable categories.

The applications concerned the country's emerging integrated resort market and did not constitute an approval.

Konami raised its group revenue forecast for the year ending March 2027 from JPY505bn to JPY583bn. The JPY78bn revision came entirely from Digital Entertainment, whose forecast increased to JPY450bn.

The Gaming & Systems revenue forecast remained JPY46bn and its business profit forecast stayed JPY6.5bn.

The group did not disclose EBITDA for the half-year period in its results presentation. Its published business profit and operating profit are separate accounting measures, while the JPY79.2bn net profit figure applies to the whole group rather than the gaming division.

In January, Red Fortune Rail debuted on Konami Gaming's Solstice cabinet at Pechanga Resort Casino in Southern California, providing an earlier example of the hardware line cited in the latest results.
