ABC Football Club has announced a new main sponsorship agreement with PlayBet.
The brand is an online gaming platform owned by C4B Gaming Group and the partnership came into effect this month and will run until the end of the 2026 season.
Under the deal, PlayBet replaces the previous sponsor in the club’s most prominent shirt position, marking a new commercial chapter for ABC as it looks to strengthen its financial structure ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The agreement also represents PlayBet’s first main sponsorship in Brazilian football.
In a statement, the operator said “the agreement reinforces PlayBet’s strategy to expand its presence in the Northeast, a region where football is lived with intensity and passion.”
ABC Futebol Clube is one of Brazil’s most traditional teams and holds the record as the most successful club in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
The club has won 57 championships titles between 1919 and 2022, lifted the Northeast Cup in 1998 and got recognition in the country with a national Serie C title in 2010.
The operator described the agreement as going beyond a conventional sponsorship, stating that the partnership aims to bring the brand closer to supporters while strengthening football as a source of identity and entertainment.
“More than a sponsorship, the partnership is intended to bring the brand closer to fans, strengthening football as an element of identity and entertainment,” PlayBet said.
PlayBet was launched as part of C4B Gaming Group’s broader portfolio expansion in Brazil. According to the company, the brand was created to operate within the country’s regulated framework, with a focus on user experience, security and regulatory compliance.
The sponsorship comes amid continued activity in Brazil’s football sponsorship market, where several operators remain active, such as Betnacional sponsoring Cruzeiro, Ana Gaming and Betano in the Cameponato Paulista and Superbet backing Campeonato Carioca.
