The BiG Africa Summit marks the second major trade show in February, following SiGMA’s AIBC Eurasia event last week.
This year marks the 12th BiG Africa Summit event, with the trade show highlighting the biggest annual developments across the African continent since its launch in 2014.
It will be held at The Grand Palm Hotel and Casino, a stately building located only a few minutes from the city centre of Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana.
The event will run from 16-19 February, with a BiG Welcome Reception on the first day in the evening for attendees to settle in and network.
While technically Day 2, the 17th will see the first full-day expo event, alongside Seminars A and B.
Attendees will be able to attend conference talks from Blessing Makunda, Zimbabwe Lotteries and Gaming Board Member; Chicco Mashale, Sunbet Sports Betting and Retail Manager; Damilola Ruth Atiri, Policy Vault Country Manager; Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe, African iGaming Alliance CEO; and James Mbalwe, Gaming Board of Tanzania Director General, just to name a few.
Day 3 offers another full day for professionals to peruse the expo hall and speakers' events, while the final day features the BiG Excursion and the Farewell Dinner.
For visitors who are staying longer than the event's duration, The Grand Palm Hotel and Casino is located only a few kilometres away from the National Museum and Art Gallery, Kgale Hill and the National Botanical Garden.
The Grand Palm Hotel and Casino was first opened in 1995 as a re-launch of Gaborone's former Sheraton Hotel.
