Century Entertainment International has announced that its joint venture company has entered into a formal operating agreement with WPT, enabling the development and monetization of new mobile gaming applications across the Asia Pacific region.
The agreement marks a key step in the company’s digital gaming strategy. Under the three-year renewable arrangement, WPT will provide platform access, proprietary content, and supporting technology as a licensed Electronic Gaming System Service Provider accredited by PAGCOR.
The JV Company will use this infrastructure to develop up to ten mobile gaming apps, excluding distribution within the Philippines. WPT will receive 15% of gross gaming revenue generated by the apps. Revenue calculations will be submitted monthly, with invoices and payments processed in a structured timetable.
The agreement also grants the JV Company secure, real-time access to operational data, including player activity, transactions, GGR and performance metrics. Although the data remains the property of WPT, the JV Company may use it for app operations under a royalty-free license.
Both parties may terminate the agreement for material breach, insolvency, regulatory requirements, or with 90 days’ notice for convenience. The deal is governed by Philippine law and subject to arbitration through the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center.
Century Entertainment stated that the structure allows the JV Company to scale its gaming portfolio without heavy upfront capital expenditure, while aligning the commercial interests of all stakeholders. Trading in the company’s shares remains suspended pending further updates.
WPT will conduct all required KYC, AML and responsible gaming controls under PAGCOR standards
