Crown Resorts has invited Gaggan Anand to host a limited series of exclusive dining events held at various Crown properties.
Anand is the chef behind the eponymous Gaggan, the number-one-ranked restaurant in Asia for 2025-26 and among the top ten restaurants in the world according to various critics and outlets.
Born in Kolkata, Anand was the first Indian chef to intern with Ferran Adrià's research team at elBulli before he opened his own restaurant.
He will appear at Crown Sydney between 28 April and 3 May, where he will be responsible for creating a 12-course degustation dinner, which will include a glass of Dom Pérignon.
From 1 May to 3 May, Anand will host a progressive Indian lunch series, then design a dedicated bar and snacks menu for Teahouse that will be available exclusively throughout May.
Anand will then arrive at Crown Melbourne on 6 May, where he will collaborate with Marmont to create an eight-course menu.
This will be set against a vibrant and curated music performance by Australian DJ, Grant Smillie.
Ed Domingo, Crown Melbourne CEO, said: “Gaggan is an international rock star of the culinary world.
“We’re delighted to be bringing him to Crown Melbourne for this truly once‑in‑a‑lifetime dining experience.”
Tickets are limited and will be available from 27 March.
American Express Centurion and Platinum Card Members will receive first access to tickets.
Earlier this year, Crown Melbourne confirmed that it would be opening a new Victor Churchill steak restaurant in mid-2027.
The venue will combine a restaurant with an on-site butchery concept, drawing on the design language established at Victor Churchill’s flagship Woollahra location in Sydney.
This experience is made possible through Crown Resorts’ partnership with American Express and Dom Pérignon
