Thomas Plenborg has been elected Better Collective Chair of the Board.
Plenborg succeeds Jens Bager, who decided not to seek re-election after nearly a decade in the company.
Plenborg said: “I would like to express my appreciation to Jens for his leadership and long-standing commitment to Better Collective. He has played a central role in shaping the governance, strategic direction, and growth journey over the past decade.”
Affiliate Better Collective’s house of brands includes HLTV, FUTBIN, Playmaker HQ and Bolavip.
“I now look forward to working closely with the management team and my fellow Board members to continue developing Better Collective for the benefit of all our stakeholders, including our customers, partners, employees and shareholders,” Plenborg added.
The Danish digital media group has recently entered the prediction markets, with focused hubs across Action Network and VegasInsider.
This strategy includes expert analysis, editorial content and educational tools, like its AI-driven betting tool, Playbook.
During the announcement at the 2026 AGM (annual general meeting), shareholders also approved the re-election of Vice-Chair Therese Hillman.
With the headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, Co-Founder and Co-CEO Jesper Søgaard stated: “We are pleased to welcome Thomas Plenborg as our new Chair. Having worked with him on the Board over the past year, we have already benefited from his deep financial and strategic insights. His experience with globally leading companies will be invaluable as we continue our work towards becoming the leading digital sports media group.”
Søgaard also said that 2025 was a “defining year” for the company and its transformation has been consistently growing and evolving.
This transition has introduced the next phase in Better Collective’s strategic growth.
