Paris Élysées Club has hosted French boxer Bakary Samaké, with the venue used for a press conference ahead of his upcoming fight on 25 April at the Adidas Arena.
The appearance is part of a partnership between Samaké Promotion and Groupe Tranchant, the operator of the gaming club. Samaké Promotion is a boxing promotion company.
Tranchant Groups, Sébastien Tranchant stated: “Boxing, like table games, involves self-control, adrenaline and strategy.” He emphasised shared values between the two parties.
The event garnered significant media attention, highlighting the growing role of Parisian gaming clubs as hubs for promotional activities.
Located on Rue Marbeuf, close to the Champs-Élysées, Paris Élysées Club offers a full range of table games, including Punto Banco, blackjack and Ultimate Poker.
The venue also features a dining area and attracts a diverse clientele combining luxury, entertainment and gambling.
Meanwhile, Paris is set to welcome another gaming club in May 2026. Groupe Partouche is preparing to open its club on Avenue de la Grande Armée near the Arc de Triomphe.
The club will cover nearly 5,000 m² across four levels. It aims to position itself as a hybrid venue that combines gaming with high-end nightlife.
In February, the French Constitutional Council confirmed the permanent status of gaming clubs in Paris, paving the way for a stable regulatory environment.
In 2017, the gambling law established Parisian gaming clubs as a pilot scheme. For nearly nine years, the sector operated under a temporary legal framework, renewed intermittently.
Following the approval of permanent status, the decrees that will define operating conditions for gaming clubs, operator obligations and oversight mechanisms are still to be issued
