Inspired Entertainment has formed a new software as a service (SaaS) distribution agreement with Playtech, looking to provide “seamless” access to the supplier’s portfolio of virtual sports content to operators around the globe.

President and CEO Brooks Pierce spoke on what the new partnership means for Inspired, having said, “This partnership represents a major milestone for Inspired.

“By becoming one of Playtech’s Virtual Sports partners, we can deliver our cutting-edge content to a wider global audience via one seamless integration.”

Inspired’s virtual sports portfolio – including offerings for V-Play Soccer, Basketball and NFL-themed Football – will be distributed to global operators through Playtech’s sportsbook platform, utilizing a new SaaS solution for cloud-hosted back-end integration.

“We are delighted to partner with Inspired Entertainment. This agreement extends our Virtual Sports offering and reaffirms Playtech's commitment to providing innovative, engaging experiences to players across multiple regulated territories,” Playtech VP of Sports Commercial Yori Arami said.

In related news, Inspired also expanded upon its partnership with BetMGM to launch the supplier’s portfolio of virtual sports content in New Jersey on April 8.

The content will officially go live on BetMGM and Borgata Online’s sports betting platforms, as the two parties previously collaborated to launch V-Play basketball, soccer and football in Ontario.

On March 16, Entain announced the extension of its long-standing agreement with Inspired to help bolster its online offerings ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The latest multi-year extension agreement will see the introduction of Inspired’s Virtual Soccer BetBuilder, which has been launched specifically ahead of the major football tournament this summer.
