The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has announced that its upcoming Big Time Bingo Milyonaryo event will offer PHP 13m in tax-free prizes through a linked nationwide competition on 7 December.
The games will begin at 2 p.m., hosted by Casino Filipino Angeles, with simultaneous participation from Casino Filipino branches in Bacolod, Cebu, Fuente, Grand Regal, Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, Mactan, Malabon Grand, Olongapo and Tagaytay. Partner venues Okada Manila and Winford Resorts & Casino will also join the event.
Each PHP 3,000 ticket grants four bingo cards per round for ten games. Games one to nine each carry a PHP 1m prize, while the tenth round will feature a PHP 3m guaranteed jackpot.
An additional PHP 1m in cash prizes will be distributed through a special local game at participating venues
PAGCOR stated that the linked event is designed to provide players with an enjoyable and secure gaming experience as the holiday season approaches.
The agency said it aims to strengthen community engagement through responsible entertainment while promoting a safe and regulated gaming environment nationwide.
This latest update closely follows the news last month of a 50% drop in PAGCOR's revenues during September, with the Philippines' gross gaming revenue reaching just PHP2.9bn ($490,000) during the month after the nation's government-imposed restrictions on e-wallet transactions.
