Tipico Casino has become an official partner of the second-division football club Holstein Kiel.
This follows a development earlier in the month when Tipico launched a fully regulated online casino offering in Schleswig-Holstein, becoming the first licensed provider to offer online casino games in the federal state.
The partnership with FC Holstein Kiel highlights strong regional ties. The focus of the cooperation is a sustainable relationship based on regional proximity and shared values.
Tipico Director of iGaming Christian Heins stated: “I am very pleased that we were able to establish this partnership between the traditional club Holstein Kiel and Tipico Casino. Two strong brands are joining forces to offer players a safe and entertaining online casino experience.”
FC Holstein Kiel Vice President and Managing Director Wolfgang Schwenke added: “We are pleased to have Tipico as a partner who is actively shaping development in Schleswig-Holstein.

In February, Tipico became the new National Sponsor of Sporthilfe, the German Sports Aid Foundation. The partnership is intended to support Germany’s top athletes during critical stages of their careers.
The operator is continuously working to strengthen its presence in the German sports ecosystem.
Mewnhile, Tipico was recently acquired by the Banijay Group. The operator originally submitted its intentions to acquire a majority stake in Tipico during October 2025, as well as plans to combine the entity with its Betclic and Admiral brands.
