Aristocrat Interactive has renewed its agreement with Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML), the Portuguese National Lottery, for a further three years.

This extended agreement will allow SCML customers to continue playing the entire portfolio of NeoGames Studio’s eInstant Games, while making it possible for them to play any new releases in the future.

This builds on 13 years of collaboration between the two companies.

Chris Shaban, Aristocrat Interactive iLottery Managing Director, said: “This new agreement underscores the continued success of our long-standing work with Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa.

“Together, we will continue to deliver high-performing content that resonates with players, driving long-term value for SCML’s continued digital growth.”

This deal supports Aristocrat Interactive’s strategy to support NeoGames Studio as it continues to expand its list of partnerships with operators in Europe.

At the time of the deal, NeoGames Studio is live or planning to go live with 18 different European lotteries.

Ricardo Lavos, SCML GM of the Games Department, said: “Our extension with Aristocrat Interactive reflects the strong appreciation Portuguese players have for NeoGames Studio's high-quality eInstant content.

“The titles we have at our disposal have been a key driver of our digital offering, and we have full confidence in Aristocrat Interactive’s ability to continue delivering modern, responsible, and engaging experiences that meet our players’ expectations.”

Only a few weeks ago, Gaming Malta announced that it was actively trying to safeguard Malta-based Aristocrat employees after Aristocrat Interactive began to wind down its white-label operations around the world.

The non-profit independent foundation is focused on redeploying any employees affected by the change to the approximately 1,200 open vacancies with licensed gambling operators in the nation.
