Additional prediction market products are expected to launch following the World Cup

Dazn has partnered with ADI Predictstreet, the Official Prediction Market Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026, to create a free-to-play prediction market experience.

The product is available on the Dazn platform and gives players the opportunity to engage with a prediction market experience.

While the initial rollout has been timed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup, the partnership will continue to evolve after the event and drive additional prediction market products.

Shay Segev, Dazn Group CEO, said: “Dazn is redefining sports entertainment by making it more immersive, interactive and connected for every fan.

“Launching the ADI Predictstreet free-to-play experience directly within the Dazn app brings real-time prediction and fan participation into the heart of the live viewing experience.

“With millions of fans now able to play for free, compete on leaderboards, and engage with the world’s biggest sporting moments in entirely new ways, this launch represents another important step in the evolution of sports entertainment ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.”

Customers who progress through the free-to-play prediction market can climb leaderboards and become eligible for exclusive prizes, including World Cup match tickets.

Dimitrios Psarrakis, Predictstreet CEO, said: “This launch transforms predictions into a truly mainstream fan experience.

“By launching a free-to-play platform, together with Dazn, we are giving millions more sports fans access to a new form of real-time participation that combines collective intelligence, entertainment, and competition at scale.

“From live predictions to community leaderboards and FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket rewards, ADI Predictstreet creates a level of engagement that sports audiences have never experienced before.”

However, the announcement comes at an awkward time.

Earlier today, Germany’s Joint Gambling Authority (GGL) launched an investigation into ADI Predictstreet for potentially breaching the country’s Advertising Act.

Branding from ADI Predictstreet was visible during World Cup matches, interviews and press conferences, but the company does not hold a gambling licence from the GGL.

This is an uncomfortable matter, as ADI Predictstreet is the Official Prediction Market Partner, and has received global exposure from the deal.
