The Paraná State Lottery (Lottopar) has completed a new round of on-site inspections across lottery retailers in the Campos Gerais region, reinforcing its compliance strategy as the state’s regulated lottery market continues to develop.

Inspection teams visited both dedicated lottery outlets and businesses selling lottery products in municipalities including Ponta Grossa, Tibagi and Telêmaco Borba as part of the regulator’s permanent monitoring program.

Officials examined whether terminals and equipment were correctly integrated with Lottopar’s central monitoring platform, verified that only authorized devices were being used and assessed whether operators were complying with the state’s technical and regulatory requirements.

Alongside the inspections, Lottopar also provided operational guidance to retailers, covering security procedures, regulatory compliance and best practices for lottery operations.

Fabio Veiga, Lottopar’s Director of Operations, said the inspections remain a key part of the governance framework.

“Field inspections allow us to verify compliance with Lottopar’s rules, validate system integration and closely monitor the operation of lottery equipment. This work is essential to ensuring security, transparency and reliability across Paraná’s lottery network,” Veiga said.

The regulator said its on-site inspections complement its centralized intelligence and auditing systems, allowing officials to monitor retail operations both remotely and in person while maintaining oversight across the state’s growing lottery sector.

The latest operation also follows recent enforcement activity by Lottopar against unauthorized operators, reflecting the regulator’s strategy of combining market supervision with consumer protection.
