Zitro has strengthened its leadership team in Asia with the appointment of gaming executive Ángel Sueiro as Regional Director for Asia, a move aimed at accelerating the company's commercial growth across the region, particularly in the Philippines.

Based in Manila, Sueiro will lead Zitro's sales strategy and deepen relationships with casino operators throughout Asia. The company said the appointment reflects the strong market performance of its gaming products and its commitment to expanding its regional footprint.

Sueiro brings more than 25 years of experience spanning gaming, hospitality and integrated resort development, with most of his career focused on Asian markets. Prior to joining Zitro, he served as Chief Operating Officer of PH Resorts, where he spent more than nine years leading major tourism and gaming projects.

During his tenure at PH Resorts, Sueiro played a key role in the development of two integrated resorts, including the planned US$650m Emerald integrated resort in Cebu. His responsibilities also covered financial planning, investor relations, regulatory coordination and operational oversight, including management of the Donatela Hotel in Bohol.

“Zitro’s products are performing strongly in every market where they are present, and Asia is no exception. The appointment of Ángel responds to that momentum: we want to be closer than ever to Asian operators, and the experience and reputation he brings will be key to accelerating our growth and our sales across the region,” said Sebastian Salat, President-International at Zitro.

“Joining Zitro is an exciting challenge. It is a company admired throughout the industry for the strength of its products and its constant innovation. After more than two decades working in this region, I know what Asian operators expect from a supplier: reliability, innovation, and products that deliver results from day one, and Zitro has all three. My goal is to make Zitro a reference in every jurisdiction in the region, and I believe we have everything we need to achieve it. I can’t wait to get started,” added Ángel Sueiro, Regional Director – Asia at Zitro.

Founded in 2007, Zitro has grown from a video bingo specialist into one of the gaming industry's leading global suppliers, expanding its portfolio to include video slots, online gaming solutions and casino management systems.
