Lotería de la Ciudad signed an adhesion agreement with the Dirección General Agencia de Habilidades para el Futuro (DGAHPEF), a unit of the Buenos Aires city Ministry of Education focused on youth and adult employability
The agreement includes workshops on problematic consumption, responsible use of digital environments and online betting prevention

Lotería de la Ciudad has partnered with the Dirección General Agencia de Habilidades para el Futuro (DGAHPEF), a unit of the Buenos Aires City Ministry of Education, to deliver responsible gambling awareness programs to the youth.

The program will also provide free training in areas including programming, artificial intelligence and technical trades.

The agreement was signed by Jesús Acevedo, President of Lotería de la Ciudad; Eva Frontera, Secretary General of the Lottery; Antonella Bottinelli, Deputy Manager for Responsible Gaming; and Gustavo Fabián Álvarez, Director General of the Agencia de Habilidades para el Futuro.

According to the lottery, the partnership will promote healthy habits and raise awareness of the risks associated with problematic consumption.

Planned initiatives include a masterclass featuring Nicolás "Cayetano" Cajg, a representative of the "Hablar es Ganar" (To Speak is to Win) campaign, alongside workshops on problematic consumption, responsible use of digital environments and online betting prevention for young people and adults participating in the agency's training programs.

The agreement builds on Lotería de la Ciudad's collaboration with other Buenos Aires City government bodies on education, prevention and responsible gambling initiatives. The operator said the partnership expands the reach of its awareness programs among young people and adults receiving training.

The agreement follows a series of responsible gambling initiatives by public gaming operators in Buenos Aires. In June, the Buenos Aires Province Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC) launched its "During the World Cup, activate the alerts" campaign to raise awareness of problem gambling among young people and encourage the use of licensed betting platforms ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
