The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported the state’s total gaming activity for June 2026 and fiscal year 2025-2026, having eclipsed $7bn in FY revenue for the first time in history, equating to a rise of 9.6%.
Despite the positive results recorded for the fiscal year period, Pennsylvania’s gaming revenue during June decreased 1.7% to $535.3m, led by retail slot machine revenue which fell 1.3% but still managed to produce $196.6m.
iGaming lifts Pennsylvania during June
While each of the Keystone State’s commercial gaming verticals failed to report year-over-year increases, revenue from iGaming slots and table games rose 17.6% and 3.6%, respectively, to $190.8m and $49.3m.
Retail table game revenue in Pennsylvania decreased 21% to $61m, while video gaming terminals generated $3.3m of revenue for a mirrored loss of 3.3%. iGaming poker was unable to match its online counterparts, reporting a decrease of 12.4% to $2.4m.

Which verticals accounted for the most revenue?
Sports wagering revenue decreased 39.6% to nearly $31m during June, even while Pennsylvania’s total handle for the monthly period increased 17.9% to $570.3m. Online revenue accounted for just over $30m of sports wagering’s total for June, while retail produced the remaining $947,443.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse generated the most revenue of any commercial property in Pennsylvania with $110.4m, representing an increase of 14.5%.
Valley Forge Casino Resort produced $88.6m and decreased 5.2%, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $55.4m of June revenue for growth of 3.7%. Parx Casino followed both properties with $51.1m, having decreased 2.7%.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse also accounted for the most iGaming revenue of any operator, increasing the total 21.1% to $98.1m. Valley Forge Casino Resort and Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported June iGaming revenues of $65.3m and $38.4m, respectively, for increases of 10% and 9.4%.

Valley Forge Casino Resort and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows accounted for over half of Pennsylvania’s total sports wagering revenue for June, respectively generating $11.9m and $7.7m for decreases of 48.6% and 45.6%.
Pennsylvania witnesses record-high results for FY25/26
During the fiscal year 2025-2026 period, iGaming revenue led all verticals with just over $2.9bn of revenue, representing an increase of 18.4%. Slot machine revenue finished as a close second with $2.4bn, managing a minor 0.02% increase from the prior year period.
Table game revenue decreased 2.2% for FY25/26 to $908.9m, while sports wagering revenue in Pennsylvania totaled $662.9m for the fiscal year period and increased 36%.
Video gaming terminals and fantasy sports accounted for $41.6m and $18m of FY25/26 revenue, respectively, equating to an increase of 0.6% but a fall of 5.8% for fantasy sports operators.
While sports wagering revenue showed improved growth year-over-year, the state’s total handle for FY25/26 decreased 3.1% to $8.4bn. Valley Forge Casino Resort and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows accounted for $272.6m and $189.9m of Pennsylvania’s total sports wagering revenue for June, respectively, equating to growth of 8.9% and 44.8%.

How has the state performed since gaming was first legalized?
While Hollywood Casino York produced just $41.7m of sports wagering revenue during FY25/26, the total represents an increase of 287.6%, while Hollywood Casino Morgantown generated $32.7m and grew 63.7%.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse led all operators in iGaming revenue with just over $1.1bn, equating to a rise of 21.1%. Valley Forge Casino Resort and Rivers Casino Philadelphia grew iGaming revenue 20.2% and 12.8%, respectively, for totals of $811.8m and $464.3m.
Harrah’s Philadelphia put together a strong iGaming campaign for FY25/26 as well, increasing revenue 40.3% to $162.8m, followed by Golden Nugget which produced $91.1m of iGaming revenue and grew 14.3%.
