Eduardo Luqueze has been named Chief Operating Officer of BigBet.
"Brazil is experiencing a unique moment with the regulated sector, competition intensifying and consumers increasingly demanding. It's exactly the kind of challenge that motivates me," he said.
“My mission at the helm of Big will be clear: to consolidate a solid operation, create a high-performance culture, and position the brand competitively and sustainably in the Brazilian iGaming market.”
Luqueze brings a lengthy track record in Brazilian iGaming operations
He most recently served as COO at NossaBet, overseeing growth strategy, brand positioning and cross-functional coordination across marketing, product, CRM and compliance.
Prior to that, he spent seven years at Betmais, one of Brazil's longer-standing operators, most recently as COO for two years, having previously held roles there as Chief of Staff, Marketing Director and VIP Manager.
Since January 2025, he has also run FVLU iGaming Consulting, advising sports betting and online casino companies on market entry, acquisition strategy and operational scaling across Brazil and Latin America.
Before moving into iGaming, Luqueze built a career spanning sales and marketing roles across several industries, including marketing management positions, along with earlier roles in vehicle sales and retail management dating back to the late 1990s.
At BigBet, Luqueze will oversee operations spanning marketing, product, CRM, customer service, partnerships and compliance, working closely with the company's shareholders and global stakeholders as the operator looks to grow within Brazil's increasingly competitive regulated market.
“For friends, partners and market colleagues: soon we will have a lot to talk about,” Luqueze concluded.
Recently, The Brazilian Senate's Science and Technology Committee has approved legislation that would bring broad restrictions on advertising, sponsorship and certain online casino products
