PAGCOR's total revenue fell 23.4% year on year to PHP64.4bn (US$1bn) in the first nine months of 2026
Electronic Gaming revenue dropped 37.2% to PHP27.6bn, while licensed casino revenue declined 3.2%
Net income fell 84.9% to PHP2.2bn following higher remittances to the Philippine Sports Commission

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has reported revenue of PHP64.4bn for the first nine months of 2026, down 23.4% from PHP84.1bn in the same period last year.

Gaming operations generated PHP58.1bn, a 23.4% decline from PHP75.9bn, with Electronic Gaming accounting for the largest reduction. Revenue from the segment fell 37.2% from PHP44bn to PHP27.6bn.

Licensed casinos remained the second-largest contributor to gaming revenue but also recorded a decline, falling 3.2% from PHP23.9bn to PHP23.1bn.

Casino Filipino branches generated PHP7.3bn, down 8% from PHP7.9bn, while poker operations contributed PHP105.9m, a 4.6% year-on-year decrease.

Revenue from other related services declined 38.6% to PHP3bn. Other income remained relatively stable at PHP3.2bn compared with PHP3.2bn in the prior-year period.

PAGCOR Contributions to nation-building (PHP bn)

PAGCOR's net income dropped more sharply, falling 84.9% from PHP14.3bn to PHP2.2bn. The regulator and operator attributed the reduction partly to a Supreme Court ruling requiring it to remit 5% of gross revenue to the Philippine Sports Commission, nearly doubling its previous contribution level.

Despite weaker financial results, PAGCOR remitted PHP45.3bn towards nation-building programmes and other statutory obligations during the period.

This included PHP27.6bn for the National Treasury's 50% government share, PHP3bn for the Philippine Sports Commission and PHP2.9bn in franchise taxes.

A further PHP11.2bn was allocated to socio-civic projects, while contributions were also made to Casino Filipino host cities, athlete incentives and corporate income tax.
