Fanatics Betting & Gaming has begun implementing OpenBet's Protect Suite across its operations in the United States.
The suite includes OpenBet Locator, a geolocation and fraud prevention system and Neccton, an AI-driven responsible gaming and anti-money laundering platform.
This follows Fanatics Markets' launch in 24 states, expanding the company's regulated betting and prediction offerings.
The implementation covers 23 US markets and is intended to support compliance with regulatory requirements while monitoring player activity. OpenBet Locator provides real-time verification of user locations and activity to meet regulatory standards.
Neccton analyses player behaviour and transactional patterns to identify potential at-risk users and support regulatory reporting. It also provides tools to detect suspicious activity related to anti-money laundering.
The two systems are integrated under OpenBet's Protect Suite, which combines geolocation, responsible gaming and compliance monitoring in a single framework.
CEO Matt King recently reaffirmed their commitment to regulatory compliance, emphasising open and transparent dialogue with regulators. Fanatics sportsbook also released a new advertising series featuring Megan Thee Stallion on 5 November, including two television and social media spots distributed throughout the NBA season
Ari Borod, Fanatics Betting & Gaming CBO, stated: "When we launched we stated that our intention would be to innovate on the tech side and we have now delivered two critical integrations in Neccton and OpenBet Locator to enhance our player protection framework and our geolocation needs."
Jordan Levin, CEO of OpenBet, added: "The launch of both Neccton and OpenBet Locator with Fanatics Sportsbook represents a pivotal milestone for OpenBet and our Protect product suite."
In July 2025, Fanatics purchased Paragon Global Markets, a federally registered introducing broker with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and a member of the National Futures Association
