The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has reported the state's total gaming activity throughout October 2025, as overall revenue for the period was highlighted by a new monthly record in iGaming revenue, which rose 32.8% to $251.1m.
The figure surpasses the previous monthly iGaming record set in March 2025, when online bettors across Pennsylvania drove just over $238.2m of revenue. iGaming slot revenue accounted for the vast majority of the vertical's total revenue throughout October, having increased 35.5% to $190.8m.
Online tables generated an additional $57.7m of revenue and grew 25.7% from the prior year period, while iGaming poker offerings accounted for just over $2.5m of revenue for October 2025 and grew 13.6%. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse was the leading operator in iGaming revenue generated for October 2025, reporting $98.7m for an increase of 42.2%.
Valley Forge Casino managed to produce nearly $71.4m of iGaming revenue while Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $38.2m for October 2025, equating to increases of 37.5% and 15% year-over-year, respectively. The PGCB reported revenue generated from online slot machines and iGaming tables throughout October 2025 represent new monthly highs as well.
Total gaming revenue generated by Pennsylvania bettors was nearly $597m, representing growth of 20.2%. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course also led all operators in total gaming revenue produced throughout the period, reporting $114.5m for an increase of 38.7%.
Valley Forge Casino and Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported October 2025 gaming revenues of $101.3m and $57.5m, respectively, equating to increases of 25.2% and 8.3%. Parx Casino gaming revenue rose 8.8% to $56.1m, while Wind Creek Bethlehem reported $44.7m for an increase of 3.3%.
Hollywood Casino at the Meadows and Presque Isle Downs and Casino witnessed the highest increases in revenue year-over-year, having risen 68.9% and 88.3%, respectively, for October 2025 gaming revenues of $36.4m and $13.5m.
Retail slot machines accounted for the most revenue of any gaming type throughout October 2025, increasing its total by 1.4% from the prior year period to $203.5m. Table games located at retail casinos in Pennsylvania generated $76.1m of revenue for the period and grew 3%, while video gaming terminals produced an additional $3.5m of revenue, but fell 1% year-over-year.
Despite leading all casinos in retail slot revenue for October 2025, Parx Casino, Wind Creek Bethlehem and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh each witnessed decreases in revenue from the prior year period, however.
Parx Casino accounted for nearly $31.3m of the total slot revenue reported for October 2025 and fell 0.3%, as Wind Creek Bethlehem and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh slot revenue fell 4% and 1.1%, respectively, for totals of $22.5m and $21m.
Wind Creek Bethlehem and Parx Casino found greater success from its retail table game verticals, however, as revenue generated by Wind Creek Bethlehem grew 11.6% to $20.2m, while Parx Casino generated just over $16.9m of table game revenue for October and increased 15.5%.
Sports betting in Pennsylvania witnessed a significant increase in revenue of 121.7% to $60.7m for October 2025, as well as a 12.9% increase in total handle for the period to just over $968.5m. The handle generated for October 2025 also represents a monthly high for Pennsylvania bettors, eclipsing the $935.5m recorded for November 2024.
Hollywood Casino at the Meadows managed to report the highest sports betting revenue of any facility in Pennsylvania, witnessing incredible growth of 271.9% for a total of $21.8m. Significant increases in sports betting revenue were reported from numerous properties across Pennsylvania, as 10 different operators more than doubled its revenue for the vertical throughout October 2025.
