The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission has officially launched its National Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (NVSEP) for regulated gaming across the state, formed in partnership with idPair.

"The NRGC is excited to join the growing number of regulators coming together to strengthen player protection in the industry as part of the NVSEP platform. We are committed to improving Responsible Gaming tools and helping individuals and families affected by problem gambling," Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission Executive Director Casey Ricketts said.

"By participating in idPair's national program, we are lowering barriers to help and providing support that extends beyond state lines."

The NVSEP will allow individuals to voluntarily exclude themselves from casinos and pari-mutuel wagering facilities across Nebraska. Participants can also select their preferred exclusion duration, complete identity verification requirements and enroll through the online platform.

idPair CEO Jonathan Aiwazian also spoke on the new collaboration, having said, "We thank the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission for their commitment to Responsible Gaming and for moving swiftly to make NVSEP available to players.

"Our streamlined launch process is designed so regulators can act efficiently and with confidence, accelerating access to critical player safety tools. We hope Nebraska's example inspires other jurisdictions to prioritize implementation and expand these protections for more people."

The debut of Nebraska's self-exclusion program follows a similar launch conducted by the Wyoming Gaming Commission on December 8, with both regulators utilizing idPair technology for the respective platforms.

Wyoming's NVSEP prohibits access to multiple forms of wagering, such as online sports betting, pari-mutuel wagering and skill-based amusement games.

The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission stated both launches reflect a "trend toward inter-jurisdictional cooperation" throughout the "Plains region and beyond."
