The Louisiana Gaming Control Board has reported the state's total gaming activity for November 2025, as revenue from land-based and riverboat casinos was $183.8m, representing an increase of 2.9%.
Of the 16 casinos which reported to the Gaming Control Board, Caesars New Orleans produced the highest revenue throughout November 2025 with $31.1m, equating to a 16.3% increase from the prior year period. Caesars New Orleans is also the only casino to be classified as a land-based property by the regulator.
Revenue generated by riverboat casinos accounted for $157.2m of Louisiana's total AGR for November and rose 0.6%. Live! Casino Louisiana, having debuted in February 2025, generated $10.7m of revenue, while L'Auberge Lake Charles produced $27.1m and increased 5%.
The Queen Baton Rouge and Horseshoe Lake Charles managed to increase casino revenue by 9.9% and 7.5% year-over-year, respectively, for November 2025 totals of $8.3m and $7.2m.
Amelia Belle generated $2.8m of casino revenue for an increase of 5.4%, while Treasure Chest Casino and Horseshoe Bossier City reported November 2025 revenues of $12.8m and $9.9m, respectively, rising 5.4% and 5.1%.
Many riverboat facilities in Louisiana still witnessed decreases in casino revenue, however, including L'Auberge Baton Rouge which reported a fall of 1.8% to $14.1m. Belle of Baton Rouge reported the highest decrease of any property for November, falling 48.6% to just over $295,000.
Margaritaville generated a November 2025 casino revenue of $12.7m, equating to a decrease of 27.2%, while Bally's Shreveport witnessed a fall of 26.6% to $7.1m. Boomtown New Orleans and Golden Nugget Lake Charles' casino revenues decreased 16% and 10.1%, respectively, for November 2025 totals of $8.7m and $25.4m.
Net proceeds from online sports wagering in Louisiana generated an additional $60.2m of gaming revenue for the state, representing growth of 15%. The total handle produced by Louisiana bettors for November 2025 rose 8.9% from the prior year period to just over $414.6m.
Revenue from video gaming terminals across the state was nearly $64m throughout November 2025, rising 1.9%, while slot machines located at Louisiana racetrack facilities generated $24.7m of revenue but decreased 1.9%.
Delta Downs was the only racetrack to report an increase in revenue from the prior year period, rising 2.6% to $12.9m for November 2025. Louisiana Downs, Fair Grounds and Evangeline Downs witnessed decreases of 1.9%, 8.4% and 7.7%, respectively, for November 2025 totals of $2.6m, $3.2m and $6.5m.
