SCCG Management has announced the appointment of Aviram Alroy as Head of iGaming. In his new role, Alroy will lead SCCG's iGaming strategy and advisory services, supporting operators, suppliers and investors on market entry, licensing, regulatory planning, product positioning and growth strategy.
He will also advise on partnerships, CRM optimisation, and mergers and acquisitions, as clients seek to scale operations while navigating evolving regulatory frameworks.
Alroy brings more than 15 years of executive experience across iGaming, sports betting, social casino and digital commerce. Most recently, he served as SVP of International Markets at Hard Rock Digital, where he oversaw global expansion initiatives, developed go-to-market strategies and built market-level operating structures across both emerging and established jurisdictions.
Prior to that, he was VP of US State Management at Digital Gaming Corporation (Betway), leading state-by-state strategy, operations and marketing across licensed US markets.
Earlier in his career, Alroy spent nearly a decade at Mohegan Sun as VP of Interactive Games, where he was responsible for online wagering, social and mobile gaming initiatives, and for creating loyalty-driven connections between digital and land-based operations.
He also previously held senior commercial and account management roles at Playtech, contributing to B2B revenue growth across the EMEA region.
Commenting on the new appointment, SCCG Founder and CEO Stephen Crystal stated: "Aviram's track record speaks for itself. He has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to enter complex regulated markets, build winning teams and scale operations profitably.
"As SCCG continues to expand its iGaming advisory services globally, Aviram's experience across product, operations and market access will be a tremendous asset to our clients and partners."
Alroy himself added: "I'm excited to join SCCG at a time when iGaming is entering its next phase of maturation and global expansion.
"SCCG has built a unique platform at the intersection of strategy, regulation and execution. I look forward to working with Stephen and the team to help operators and technology providers build sustainable, scalable businesses in regulated markets."
The appointment comes amid a wave of senior-level moves across the gaming industry. Yesterday, BetBlocker named Ciaran Henry as VP of User Experience to manage its growing user base of 300,000 active users.
Meanwhile, Table Trac announced that CFO Randy Gilbert has assumed the CEO position, with former CEO Chad Hoehne transitioning to President and CTO.
Paddy Power Gaming also confirmed the appointment of Meadhbh O'Hanlon as Bingo and Poker Commercial Manager following her internal progression within the company.
Alroy's early career at Playtech saw him manage account teams responsible for approximately 40% of the company's annual B2B revenue in the EMEA region
