Brand to debut on shirt in Copa do Brasil fixture against Sport Club do Recife
Agreement includes fan engagement and activation initiatives

Betnacional, one of Flutter Brazil’s brands, has signed an agreement to become the new main sponsor of Athletic Club MG, with the brand set to feature in the primary position on the club’s shirt for the 2026 season.

The partnership will run for one year and comes as the Minas Gerais-based side prepares to compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B for the second time in its history.

“We are very happy to announce Athletic-MG as the newest club sponsored by Betnacional,” said Jorge Peixoto, Head of Sponsorships at Betnacional.

“We see great potential in this partnership. Our goal is to walk alongside the club during this important moment of consolidation in national competitions and further strengthen the brand's connection with the fans.”

Beyond shirt sponsorship, the agreement includes a series of activation initiatives throughout the season, focused on fan engagement and brand-building opportunities.

“We are experiencing a period of growth in the national scene, and having a strong, nationally recognized brand by our side that believes in the potential of the Athletic-MG project and Brazilian football further reinforces our confidence to continue evolving,” said Thales Soares, President of the Club’s SAF structure.

The partnership will debut in Athletic-MG’s upcoming fixture against Sport Club do Recife in Brazil’s Cup.

In a separate development, Betnacional was also confirmed as the main sponsor of the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube (women’s team) for the 2026 season, expanding the brand’s presence in Brazilian football through partnerships across both men’s and women’s competitions.
