Harrah’s Oklahoma hosted its official grand opening ceremony on April 9, featuring a ribbon-cutting celebration with leadership from the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Caesars Entertainment, as well as honorary first bets and live entertainment.
“This is a milestone moment for our team, our partners and the Chandler community,” Harrah’s Oklahoma SVP and GM Joe Scibetta said.
“We’re proud to officially open our doors and introduce a destination that delivers the Harrah’s experience while creating something new and exciting for Oklahoma.”
Oklahoma football icons Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops were in attendance for the grand opening ceremony, also taking part in first-play moments on the casino floor which features over 1,000 slot machines, 12 table games and a high-limit gaming area
Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Chairman Jake Keyes spoke on the new development, having said, “This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to economic growth and opportunity for our people.
“Harrah’s Oklahoma brings new energy to our community and creates meaningful opportunities for future generations.”
Harrah’s Oklahoma is also expected to create over 300 jobs in gaming, hospitality, food and beverage, facilities, security and administrative operations.
In Nevada, Caesars unveiled its first-ever retail sportsbook in Summerlin on March 3, having originally announced plans for the new land-based facility in December 2025 following Rampart Casino’s property-wide rebrand to The Resort at Summerlin.
The operator confirmed plans to utilize "a significant amount of capital" to help improve the retail sportsbook, but will first begin with the installation of 20 self-service betting kiosks.
Caesars also expanded its premium accommodation offering at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, unveiling two new Colosseum Presidential Villas and 29 Sky Villas in the Octavius Tower during January 2026.
Caesars launched its Caesars Racebook pari-mutuel horse racing platform in West Virginia and Wyoming on April 3, representing the racebook’s first expansion since debuting in Kentucky and Colorado
