The Ohio Casino Control Commission has reported the state's total casino revenue for September 2025, as the four properties currently licensed in Ohio combined to generate $77.8m of revenue throughout the monthly period, equating to a decrease of 4.6%. Slot machine activity accounted for $58.3m of the state's total casino revenue for September 2025, having decreased 1.1%, while table game revenue fell 13.7% to $19.4m.

Hollywood Casino Toledo was the only facility to report an increase in casino revenue year-over-year, having produced $18.5m for September 2025 and risen 3%. The casino's slot machines generated $15.8m of revenue for September 2025 and increased 2.4%, with table games accounting for the remaining $2.7m, which represents growth of 7%.

Hollywood Casino Columbus reported the highest revenue of any casino currently operating in Ohio for September 2025, but fell 1.8% from the prior year period for a total of $22m. Just over $17.4m of the property's casino revenue was produced by slot machines, equating to an increase of 1.4%, but table game revenue fell 12.2% to $4.6m.

Hard Rock Cincinnati, which reported a total casino revenue of $17.7m for September 2025, witnessed the highest decrease in revenue of the four properties after falling 14.1% from the prior year period. Table game revenues for Hard Rock Cincinnati fell by a significant 30.1% to $4.9m, as slot machines accounted for $12.7m of revenue but decreased 5.8%.

Finally, Jack Cleveland Casino reported a September 2025 casino revenue of $19.6m, equating to a decrease of 4.9%, as slot machines and table games generated $12.4m and $7.2m of revenue, respectively, representing decreases of 3.8% and 6.7%.

In April 2025, the Ohio Casino Control Commission sent three cease-and-desist letters to Kalshi, Robinhood and Crypto.com, following an investigation which found all three to offer "event contracts" and allow bettors to wager on one of two outcomes for a specific event.

Executive Director Matt Schuler stated failure to abide by the regulatory orders "may result in the Commission pursuing all legal remedies and actions" across administrative, civil and criminal sanction avenues at the time of announcement.
