Casino Club has announced it will close its Central venue in Posadas, Misiones, before the end of April 2026.
The company is simultaneously announcing the cessation of operations, the sale of the property and the relocation of the Central room to a new space, designed to combine gaming, dining and live entertainment under one roof.
The venue, which housed 287 slot machines and electronic roulette tables, had functioned as the flagship property of Casino Club's network in Posadas. The chain operates additional rooms in Garupá, Quaranta and Villa Cabello, meaning regional gaming supply is not expected to contract significantly as a result of the closure.
The relocation is framed by the operator as a strategic renewal rather than a reduction of activity. The new facility is described as an integral space that consolidates the gaming floor with an expanded food and beverage offer and infrastructure for live shows, a format Casino Club has been developing across its Misiones network through weekly free-entry programming.
The move reflects a pattern visible across the Argentine land-based sector, where operators are consolidating assets into mixed-use venues better positioned to compete with the expanding online market.
The original building's sale signals that the transition is permanent rather than transitional. Casino Club has not publicly detailed the staffing implications of the relocation.
The Central venue had been one of the most active entertainment anchors in downtown Posadas, hosting regular shows and themed nights that drew audiences beyond the gaming floor.
According to reports, current employees have been offered termination agreements for their contracts, but most of them have opted to continue on the new venue.
