The commitment is running for the eighth consecutive year
Earth Month was created by the World Wildlife Fund
More than 100 Hard Rock properties invited guests for up to 60 minutes

Hard Rock International celebrated Earth Month this April and will bring the same focus from Earth Hour, which was marked on March 28. It will assemble individuals, businesses and landmarks from around the world every year to help with sustainability activations and improving ecosystems.

Taking a break from their smartphones, members were encouraged to focus on tailoring to local communities and participating in community cleanups and group walks.

The program, which continues to the end of April, will include live acoustic performances and educational experiences.

Hard Rock has also begun reservations for its new hotel property in Malta, and a new partnership with Motor Enclave Racetrack

The details of some of the advancements made include almost 1,400 pounds of waste removed, 700 pounds of plastic bottle caps collected and more than 62,000 hours dedicated to the planet.

"Our 'Save the Planet' initiatives reflect our belief that meaningful progress comes from sustained action," said Paul Pellizzari, Vice President of Global Social Responsibility for Hard Rock International. "By celebrating Earth Hour and extending our efforts through Earth Day and Earth Month, we aim to create experiences that engage our guests, team members and communities in ways that inspire them to care for the planet in ways that last."

The spirit of Earth Month was expressed with a shared passion of supporting the environment, producing more sustainable resources and committing to help restore and support economic growth.

Happy Earth Day, everyone!
