DraftKings has launched its new horseracing feature, DraftKings Racing, in six additional US states ahead of the 2026 Kentucky Derby event on May 2, as well as introduced a $1m race promotion for users.
DraftKings Racing is now available in Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio and Oregon, having originally launched in Delaware, New Mexico and Rhode Island during March 2026.
The horseracing feature has been integrated within DraftKings' sportsbook platform, and continues to phase out the operator’s former DK Horse application, which remains active in states where DraftKings Racing has yet to launch.
“DraftKings is committed to delivering the best fan experience across sports, and we’re proud to continue elevating that experience for horse racing with DraftKings Racing,” DraftKings Director of Race and Sports Operations Johnny Avello said.
“DraftKings Racing is designed for speed and simplicity, offering a seamless and powerful way to engage with the sport’s biggest moments. By integrating horse racing directly into the DraftKings Sportsbook app, customers can wager across sports in one place with a shared wallet – creating a more connected and streamlined experience.”
The operator is now offering a $1m King of the Track promotion for the 2026 Kentucky Derby, where users can earn a share of the prize pool by opting in and placing a qualifying bet on a winning horse.
DraftKings Racing continues to roll out on a state-by-state basis, with the operator confirming additional launches are expected to go live by the conclusion of 2026. DK Horse will be phased out as DraftKings introduces its new horseracing feature in each jurisdiction.
Also in March, DraftKings gained regulatory approval from the Oregon Lottery to launch its new DK Replay product across the state, offering users historical betting markets for Major League Baseball (MLB).
DK Replay allows DraftKings users to wager pitch-by-pitch on hundreds of thousands of historical MLB plate appearances, presented with an anonymized pitcher versus batter matchup for each bet.
DraftKings began offering account linking services with ESPN ahead of the 2026 NCAA March Madness tournament, combining the operator’s sportsbook platform with ESPN’s digital interface
