Philippine bingo and sports betting operator DigiPlus Interactive reported year-to-date net income of PHP 10.11bn ($170.9m) for the first nine months of 2025, up 16% year-over-year, supported by continued expansion in retail gaming and the launch of new products approved by PAGCOR.
Consolidated revenue for the period rose 30% to PHP 66.83bn, while EBITDA increased 19% to PHP 11.13bn.
The company said its growth through September reflected higher business activity across its BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone platforms, alongside operational efficiencies and contributions from recently licensed offerings.
DigiPlus also paid PHP 25.59bn in government taxes and regulatory fees during that nine-month period, a 9% increase.
However, third-quarter results showed the impact of the e-wallet delinking directive issued to payment providers earlier this year. Q3 net income fell 59% to PHP 1.71bn, while EBITDA declined 55% to PHP 2.0bn.
Revenue for the quarter dropped 23% to PHP 19.05bn, reflecting lower player activity after platforms were required to disconnect in-app access to licensed gaming services.
To mitigate the disruption, DigiPlus implemented new customer-protection and payment initiatives. This included launching the country's first surety bond program for online gaming players, developed with Philippine First Insurance Co, which provides up to PHP 1m in coverage per verified wallet.
The company also expanded its over-the-counter payment network through a partnership with Bayad Center, adding more than 800 locations nationwide.
DigiPlus said its third-quarter performance was partially offset by improved service infrastructure, ongoing product development and growth in its nationwide retail footprint of more than 130 BingoPlus outlets.
The period also included several governance and community milestones, including a listing in the PSE Index and the rollout of mental-health support initiatives.
Earlier in October, DigiPlus partnered with Bayad to broaden nationwide over-the-counter cash-in access for its platforms, a move aimed at strengthening payment options following the regulatory changes affecting e-wallet integrations.
