Super Group has reported its financial activity for the first quarter of 2026, as net revenue for the operator climbed 18% to $612m, while adjusted EBITDA totaled $152m and increased 36%. 

The operator managed to set quarterly highs in net revenue, monthly active customers, deposits and wagering, while profit for the period increased 45.8% to $86m. Despite the quarterly highs and profit increase, Super Group reported a 14.5% decrease in comprehensive income to $65m. 

Monthly active customers reached 6.4 million players and increased 18%, while net cash flows from operating activities decreased 75.8% to $87m.

For Super Group’s operations in Africa, revenue increased 32.8% to $267m, including a 40.7% rise in iGaming revenue to $190m. The operator also produced $77m of sportsbook revenue in Africa, equating to growth of 16.7%. 

Super Group’s international operations accounted for $339m of revenue and increased 9%, as iGaming revenue rose 10.7% to $299m, while sportsbook decreased 5% to $38m.

Of the $339m in international revenue, America operations generated $195m and grew 4.8% year-over-year, as Europe followed with a 17.7% increase to $113m. Operations from the rest of the world totaled $31m of revenue and increased 6.9%.

Q1 2026 marked the first quarter in which Super Group began reporting its revenue under Africa and International segments rather than Betway and Spin. 

Super Group confirmed its FY2026 revenue guidance would remain at approximately $2.55bn following the Q1 2026 report, while adjusted EBITDA is expected to total $680m during the full-year period. 

Playstudios also reported its financial results for Q1 2026 on May 11, as net revenue during the period fell 6.9% to $58.4m, while the operator’s $10.7m net loss represents an increase of 270.7% from the first quarter of 2025.

For Q1 2026, consolidated AEBITDA decreased 71.4% to $3.6m, while Playstudios’ loss from operations increased 385.4% to $13.3m.
