Harrah’s Resort Southern California, which is currently owned by the Rincon Band of Mission Indians, has launched its newly renovated high-limit gaming floor following a $13.1m project to introduce “several key upgrades.”
"The completion of the high limit area renovation reflects Harrah's Resort SoCal's steadfast commitment to excellence," Harrah’s Resort Southern California SVP & GM Jill Barrett said.
"As we evolve, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance the guest journey, providing the most elevated escape possible for our VIP players and resort guests alike."
The high-limit project was executed by JCJ Architecture and Swinerton and features 100 slot machines, including 11 bar-top units, as well as table games such as double deck blackjack, shoe blackjack, baccarat and pai gow.
The space also includes new video walls, LED lighting and a custom-engineered audio system to help improve player comfort.
Rincon Tribe Chairman Steve Stallings spoke on the property’s new unveiling, having said, "As we strive for excellence across the property, we are constantly re-evaluating where we can better serve our guests.
"I am incredibly proud of the work that culminated in the unveiling, and I look forward to the continued evolution of our resort experience."
Over in the south, Harrah’s Oklahoma hosted its grand opening ceremony on April 9, featuring a ribbon-cutting celebration with leadership from the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Caesars Entertainment, as well as honorary first bets and live entertainment.
Oklahoma football icons Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops were in attendance for the grand opening ceremony, also taking part in first-play moments on the casino floor which features over 1,000 slot machines, 12 table games and a high-limit gaming area
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City confirmed plans to undergo a $50m renovation in the hopes of ‘reaffirming its commitment’ to the city, having executed nearly $700m in investments since 2018
