Scientific Games has named Ray Anderson as Interim CFO following the departure of current CFO Nick Negro, who will leave the company on May 15 after three years in the role.
Anderson assumed the Interim role as Scientific Games launched a search for a permanent CFO. Negro, meanwhile, is leaving the company to pursue a Chicago based opportunity closer to his family.
The transition comes as Scientific Games continues expanding its lottery technology and digital operations across regulated markets: the company currently supplies products, systems and services to more than 150 lotteries worldwide.
Pat McHugh, CEO of Scientific Games, said: “Nick has been a strong member of our leadership team and an advocate for the potential of Scientific Games. During his time with the company, he significantly strengthened our financial and procurement organizations and helped position Scientific Games for continued growth. We thank Nick for his contributions and wish him all the best.”
Negro joined the company during a period of restructuring and strategic focus on lottery, digital gaming and technology services following Scientific Games’ corporate transformation in recent years.
Anderson brings more than 30 years of finance and audit experience, primarily through leadership positions at KPMG in the US, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he served as Global Lead Partner at the consulting firm, advising multinational companies on audit, regulatory and capital market matters.
McHugh said: “Ray is a highly respected finance leader with extensive global experience advising large, complex organizations. We are confident in his ability to support the business and our Finance organization during this transition.”
Scientific Games has continued strengthening its position in the lottery sector through technology modernization contracts and digital expansion initiatives across North America and international markets.
