The operator will receive access to official league data and the ability to use Serie A logos and marks across its platform

Polymarket has been named the exclusive prediction market partner of Serie A, following a new multi-year agreement reached between the operator and Italian football league on May 14.

As a result of the collaboration, Polymarket will receive access to official league data and the ability to use Serie A logos and marks across its trading platform. The prediction markets operator originally formed a new sponsorship agreement with FC Lazio on April 20, representing the first Serie A club to partner with Polymarket.

Genius Sports is also set to provide data services as part of Polymarket’s agreement with Serie A, with the league’s Marketing & Commercial Director Michele Ciccarese describing the US as a “key growth market.”

Polymarket began 2026 by forming a multi-year agreement with Soccer United Marketing, naming the operator as the official and exclusive prediction market partner of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Leagues Cup tournament.

The operator began working with MLS to develop new fan engagement opportunities across the league’s digital platforms, including an enhancement of its live match experience and second-screen engagement.

On April 6, La Liga became the first-ever European soccer league to reach an agreement with Polymarket, appointing the operator as its exclusive prediction market partner in the US and Canada.

The multi-year collaboration features heightened broadcast visibility, fan-focused digital and social programming and exclusive fan experiences such as VIP match hospitality and meet-and-greets with well-known La Liga players.

Polymarket’s agreement with FC Lazio came under scrutiny from Democratic Party MPs in Italy, however, who requested ministers assess whether the deal is compatible with national gambling, advertising and consumer protection rules.

MPs believe the issue stems from whether the FC Lazio agreement, described as involving analysis, fan intelligence and digital insights, could still create indirect promotion of a platform which remains outside Italy’s licensed gambling framework.
