The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported the state’s total gaming revenue for April 2026, as casino operators managed to generate nearly $1.3bn during the monthly period, equating to an increase of 5.3%. 

Slot machines accounted for $919.3m of the state’s total gaming revenue, representing an increase of 4.1%. Led by baccarat which produced $132.2m of revenue and grew 20.1% year-over-year, table game revenue in Nevada rose 8.3% for a total of $380.7m. Mobile sports betting accounted for $35m of revenue in Nevada during April 2026, equating to a rise of 5.5%.

How has the state's gaming revenue performed since April 2021?

In Clark County, which is home to areas such as the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown, gaming revenue for April 2026 increased 4.8% to just over $1.1bn. Revenue from the Las Vegas Strip increased 6.6% to $689.4m, but the Downtown area witnessed a 0.6% decrease in revenue to $83.4m. 

North Las Vegas managed to increase revenue by 2.8% to $25.6m, while Laughlin and Boulder Strip generated gaming revenues of $47m and $90m, respectively, equating to rises of 16.9% and 0.1%. Mesquite capped off Clark County by producing $18.6m of gaming revenue and increasing 4.1%.

Washoe County also had a successful April 2026 after increasing gaming revenue 12.7% to $97.3m, primarily due to 11.8% growth in revenue from the Reno area to $72.3m. Sparks grew revenue 20.3% to $15.2m, while revenue from North Lake Tahoe totaled $1.5m and increased 6.6%. 

South Lake Tahoe generated nearly $18.4m of revenue for April 2026, representing an increase of 10.5%. Elko County reported a 1.2% increase in gaming revenue to $33.6m, led by the Wendover area which drove $21.5m of revenue but decreased 3.4%. 

The Carson Valley Area managed to increase gaming revenue by 6.9% year-over-year to $12.2m, while other gaming revenue in Nevada accounted for just over $20m and rose 4.3%. For fiscal year 2026, running from July 2025 to April 30, 2026, gaming revenue in Nevada has increased 2.3% for a total of $13.3bn.
