Operator LeoVegas has announced a new partnership with Valletta Football Club and has now become the side's official Exclusive Online Gaming Partner.
Indeed, as part of this deal, LeoVegas is now set to collaborate with the club on a range of fan engagement initiatives, including experiences in the Maltese capital for employees and fans of the side. Elsewhere, this latest agreement will see the operator's logo appear as a sleeve sponsor on the side's kit, allowing LeoVegas branding to become visible both as part of the Valletta FC kit and across training grounds and additional club facilities.
Speaking on this latest deal, LeoVegas Group CFO, Stefan Nelson, said: "We are very proud to partner with Valletta FC, one of the most successful and popular clubs in Malta. Our Group has considered itself a partly Maltese company almost since its inception, and we are thrilled to collaborate with the capital's club to create exciting opportunities for fans, employees, and future talent alike. When two strong lions join forces, great things can happen!"
This latest update comes towards the end of what has been a transformative year for LeoVegas Group, as the operator celebrated the opening of a new UK office in Leeds in early Q2 2025. Following on from this, the company saw the departure of Chris Welch as CCO, followed swiftly by ex-CEO and Co-Founder Gustaf Hagman, who has now been succeeded by Mattias Wedar.
More recently, LeoVegas announced the extension of its partnership with Kambi, alongside the debut of its new proprietary sportsbook in Denmark. Last month, Sam Leggott also joined the operator as the new Director of Gaming Operations.
In 2022, LeoVegas was acquired by MGM Resorts as part of a $607m merger transaction
