This is despite the number of MICE events remaining broadly in line with last year’s figures.
Moreover, MICE-driven receipts in Macau's non-gaming industries surged by 54.8% year-on-year to MOP1.59 billion in the second quarter, driven by growth in the number of non-local participants & attendees and in MICE visitors' per-capita spending.
For H2 2026, a total of 918 MICE events were held in Macau, unchanged from H2 2025 levels. Meanwhile, the number of participants and attendees has reached 494,000, a 16.0% rise. Furthermore, non-gaming industry MICE-driven receipts surged 44.8% to MOP2.43 bn.
Meanwhile, Macau’s gaming sector recorded total gross gaming revenue (GGR) of MOP 126.9bn for the first half of the year, representing a 6.8% increase compared with the same period in 2025.

The result follows June's 12.1% decline, after Macau posted positive year-on-year growth during the first five months of 2026.
