The Chubut Social Assistance Institute (IAS) has delivered equipment to a range of educational, social and community institutions in the city of Trelew, reinforcing the province's commitment to reinvesting lottery proceeds into local development.
The deliveries were led by IAS president Ramiro Ibarra alongside Trelew mayor Gerardo Merino, as part of a coordinated visit aimed at fulfilling commitments announced by Governor Ignacio Torres.
According to provincial authorities, the initiative is designed to ensure that promises made during public lottery events translate into tangible benefits for local communities.
"These deliveries are part of the commitment assumed by Governor Ignacio Torres with local institutions," Ibarra said.
"We do not want the year to end with pending commitments. That is why we are here today, honouring our word and supporting those who work every day for the community."
The program is part of a provincial policy focused on institutional support and social development.
Officials also highlighted the importance of coordination between the provincial government and the Municipality of Trelew, noting that joint action helps optimize resources and ensures a consistent state presence at the local level.
The initiative builds on previous actions by Lotería del Chubut, which has distributed significant prize funds and donated equipment to institutions across the province.
By channelling lottery resources into schools, neighbourhood associations and cooperatives, the Government aims to strengthen organizations and address concrete needs in education and community infrastructure.
