Polymarket has been named as the exclusive prediction market partner of the 83rd annual Golden Globes, set to include integrated branding and real-time market insights to help improve audience engagement for the awards ceremony.
“The Golden Globes have long been a place where audiences debate and predict what will happen next,” Polymarket Founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said.
“Polymarket reflects those expectations through markets spanning entertainment and culture, and this partnership brings that perspective directly into one of awards season’s biggest moments. But pairing cultural debate with market-based probabilities, we’re giving fans a new, more interactive way to follow the show as it unfolds.”
The Golden Globes will air on January 11 and are currently operated by Penske Media Corporation.
President Craig Perreault shared his thoughts on the new collaboration, having said, “Our partnership with Polymarket unlocks a groundbreaking new frontier, redefining how audiences engage with and connect to the content they love.
“Deepening the connection between fans and their favorite films, shows and actors strengthens the entertainment industry and highlights the award-winning contact celebrated at the Golden Globes.”
Polymarket has spent the first portion of 2026 forging multiple partnerships, including exclusive agreements with Dow Jones and the New York Rangers NHL franchise on January 7 and 8, respectively.
Prediction market offerings will be made available on Dow Jones’ consumer platforms, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Investor’s Business Daily.
As part of the Rangers collaboration, Polymarket will receive exclusive promotional opportunities in Madison Square Garden, which also serves as the home arena of the franchise, and on live television broadcasts.
Polymarket came under criticism from users after declining to settle bets linked to a US invasion of Venezuela in January 2026, despite the capture of former president Nicolás Maduro by US forces
