Softswiss has appointed Denis Romanovskiy as its first Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at a time when Soft2Bet has made a double appointment, Flutter appointed David Kenny as Independent Non-Executive Director and Kirsty Caldwell was appointed Interim Chair of Gambling Commission Industry Forum.
Romanovskiy assumes the CAIO role after more than five years as Deputy Chief Technology Officer at Softswiss, where he worked on scaling technology platforms and engineering teams.
He previously held senior roles at EPAM Systems and Wargaming.net, focusing on enterprise software and large-scale digital products.
As Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, Romanovskiy will define and implement Softswiss’ AI strategy, including oversight of a centralised internal AI platform.
The role establishes executive accountability for AI, with responsibility for governance, consistency and transparency across the company’s use of artificial intelligence.
The platform links AI tools with internal systems and data to support workflow automation, data analysis and decision-making, with access controls, audit logs and cost tracking in place.
It also enables non-technical teams, including HR, Sales and Customer Support, to build AI workflows using shared components, reducing reliance on engineering resources.
Recently, Affilka by Softswiss partnered with Gaming Operations Academy to join the Affiliate Management Course. Additionally, Softswiss also announced a partnership with PantherBet.
Ivan Montik, Softswiss Founder, stated: “ By investing early in a unified AI platform and dedicated leadership, Softswiss is positioning itself at the forefront of this shift.”
Romanovskiy added: “We’ve seen first-hand the amazing things AI can do. Our focus now is on making AI a trusted, governed and economically efficient capability that delivers measurable productivity gains across every part of the business.”
The platform is designed to provide management with oversight of AI usage across a workforce of more than 2,000 employees
