Flutter Brazil has expanded its leadership structure with the appointment of Marcelo de Ciccio as Head of Paid Search, App, SEO and Referral.
The move is part of the group’s plan to scale channel efficiency and accelerate growth marketing initiatives across its Brazilian betting brands, Betnacional and Betfair.
In his new role, De Ciccio will be responsible for managing paid acquisition, organic search authority, retention strategies and the development of a dedicated referral pillar for both platforms.
The position places him at the center of Flutter Brazil’s efforts to consolidate its presence in the increasingly competitive regulated market.
De Ciccio brings 16 years of professional experience across technology, finance and digital marketing.
His background includes senior roles at Brazilian tech unicorns such as Neon, Creditas and Loggi, as well as stints at Porto Seguro and advertising agencies, where he worked on performance-driven digital strategies.
The executive also has experience in the esports ecosystem, having previously been involved in the management of INTZ, one of Brazil’s best-known esports organizations.
At Flutter Brazil, his remit extends beyond acquisition to include long-term user engagement and brand authority in search environments.
Commenting on the appointment, De Ciccio said he was “excited about the new challenge,” highlighting the opportunity to contribute to the growth of two established betting brands within Flutter’s Brazilian portfolio.
Last year, the company also appointed a new CEO for Brazil, Eduardo Monte, and continued to reinforce its commercial and operational teams.
Flutter Brazil has also recently appointed Oliver King as commercial director for Betfair
