MeridianBet subsidiary Expanse Studios has expanded its offerings in the Belgian market
The studio’s games have gone live via the Meridianbet.be platform in the nation
This latest development comes as part of a recent expansive phase for the supplier

MeridianBet’s gaming content subsidiary company, Expanse Studios, has announced further expansion in the regulated Belgian market – releasing its online gaming portfolio via its parent company’s local online platform, Meridianbet.be.

Indeed, this latest market entry comes after MeridianBet formally obtained a B+ online gaming licence from the nation’s regulator, the Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC) in December of last year. Now, the operator’s players will also be able to access gaming options from its studio subsidiary arm as part of this latest development, as the two sister companies seek to further expand their reach in the European market.

Speaking on this latest news, Expanse Studios CEO Damjan Stamenkovic said: "Belgium is a cornerstone of our European expansion strategy due to its strict regulatory framework and high digital adoption. Launching our full portfolio here demonstrates the scalability of our content. We are moving beyond the licensing phase and into a high-growth revenue phase, utilising our Group's existing infrastructure to deliver Expanse games directly to a sophisticated player base."

Expanse Studios’ Belgian market entry represents the latest phase of expansion for the supplier, which was also granted a software provider licence in Sweden in Q4 2025. More recently, this month has seen the supplier broker new partnerships in both the Montenegrin and Brazilian markets – as well as releasing its first-ever celebrity-branded slot title in partnership with former MMA fighter Vaso Bakocevic.

Elsewhere recently, the Belgian market also implemented new retail gaming identity and age verification checks – with newspaper retailers in the nation required to perform ID, age and EPIS checks on players from May 2026.
