This latest development supports the supplier’s recent expansive endeavours across the EU

Digitain has announced that it has secured both a Manufacturer and Importer gaming licence in the Bulgarian market.

Indeed, Digitain has initiated the latest phase of its European expansion endeavours via the confirmation of this latest dual licensure in Bulgaria – which will allow the supplier to provide both online gaming solutions, as well as distribution rights for third-party products and content. This latest confirmation sees Digitain further strengthen its presence in the Eastern European region, following recent activations in the area.

Speaking on this latest development, Digitain’s Group Chief Compliance Officer Arshak Muradyan said: “Securing both licences in Bulgaria is an important step in strengthening our presence in regulated markets.

“It allows us to deliver both our in-house solutions and a wide range of certified third-party products in full compliance with local requirements. This dual capability ensures that our partners can confidently operate and scale in the Bulgarian market with a reliable and fully compliant product offering.”

This latest compliance update falls in the wake of the confirmation that Digitain had also secured official certification from the UK regulator – the Gambling Commission – last month. The supplier obtained a betting licence within the UK market shortly after also confirming an additional software supplier licence in the Isle of Man in late January – following formal confirmation from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.

More recently, the supplier also confirmed that its former Chief Revenue Officer, Iain Hutchison, would be transitioning to the role of Non-Executive Director at the company – as he steps into his new role as SVP of Business Development for Huddle.
